Daniel Chavez Crook is a Los Angeles based composer, audio engineer, and sound designer whose work spans television, AAA video games, independent film, and digital media. Driven by a lifelong passion for horror movies and electronic music, Daniel blends synthesis and modern production techniques to craft immersive, genre-bending sonic landscapes.
Most recently serving as a Composer Assistant on Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 5 alongside Emmy-winning composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, Daniel brings a deep, technical approach to narrative storytelling.
When he’s not menu diving in the deep depths of synthesizers, he can be found at home watching the Premier League, playing video games, and slinging spells playing Magic The Gathering.
